About Mark Schumacher

As a kid in the 1970’s I always took apart my toys (walkie-talkies, transistor radios) and had a thing for magnets. Then when I was eleven in 1977 I saw Star Wars. This was the same summer I took a programming (Fortran) summer school class at the high school; it was then that I was hooked on technology.As an adult I design and build data centers; I have a depth of experience with designing and implementing power, cooling, networks, storage, computing (physical and virtual), data gateways, and procuring it all. So naturally, standing up an industrial scale crypto mining operation is what I have been preparing for all my life.On top of that, my wife (Maria) and I have a long history of success as entrepreneurs creating products and starting businesses from scratch that last a decade or more with sales on a global scale.
