Responsible for installation and maintenance of all integrated and non-integrated hardware networking, software and peripherals for the Library as well as the Library’s automation system (currently Sirsi-Dynix Symphony). Holds training sessions for library staff and the public on technology applications. Acts as the Library technology liaison with independent contractors and outside agencies and organizations. Performed technology refresh at the Geneva Public Library and in process of implementing the expansion of the Ashtabula Public Library to include new construction, implementation of new data infrastructure and enhancement of capabilities using virtual Linux sessions and Windows 7 workstations. Install, configuration and maintenance of a blended Windows Server 2012 and 2008 Active Directory administration network using Windows 7 and Windows 10 workstations, Macintosh workstations, Linux workstations and Unix/Linux servers.
