Reporting to our UK corporate office, the success of my position requires partnering with the regional finance directors throughout the world through a consultative leadership approach.Our business is based on sales, services and software sold to financial institutions, cash in-transit companies, retailers and gaming companies. I am responsible for the all the tax aspects for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. On a global basis, I engage in tax rate planning. Our company has gone through ownership changes including our sale from the Carlyle Group to Glory Ltd (TYO: 6457).Specific examples of my daily activities are audit defense, tax risk management, operational transfer pricing planning, capital structures, tax accounting (IFRS/US GAAP/Statutory) and direct and indirect tax compliance for North America. On a global basis I budget and forecast our tax rate and calculate our intercompany allocations.I am the recipient of two CEO awards for going above and beyond in my position.
