In the world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) it is often difficult to find experienced, knowledgable individuals who can claim they have built an AI team and delivered real value from production AI assets, however, Mark is the exception.Starting with his PhD in Artificial Intelligence that utilized probabilistic rule based systems and neural networks, Mark has since developed a impactful career that spans financial services, risk management, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and, of course, AI/ML to become an experienced leader and executive.In his most recent position Mark built and lead a team of 30+ data scientists, analysts and engineers to utilize artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic process automation and advanced analytics to identify and generate insights and opportunities in the payment integrity space within healthcare, leading to a consistent 3x return on investment. Comfortable working in innovative, challenging and fluid environments, he has demonstrated that he can build and lead teams either directly or in a matrixed organization and can communicate effectively to all levels, from technical and business analysts to C-suite executives, in order to drive initiatives forward.With a strong background in Artificial Intelligence and understanding of advanced machine learning techniques he is able to provide the crucial bridge between product, operations, engineering and data science to apply the right approach to the right problem.
