I am very passionate about establishing and continuously improving safety and security related awareness programs are in place to prevent and mitigate risks to the public and the workers. I have conducted industrial hygiene related tasks that included occupational and area air monitoring assessments and collecting bulk samples of building materials. In addition, I monitored, inspected and reported on the safe removal hazardous building materials by workers, while ensuring that work was in completed in accordance with local occupational safety regulations. I have supported and led various HSSE related initiatives that have allowed me to be put in a position to influence individuals\' decision making processes to assess hazards and risks that is critical to complete daily tasks. I have progressed into a more corporate HSSE role with oversight of programs that were developed with a collaborative approach to meet the needs of multiple business units across Canada.
