Highly experienced Offshore Integrity Engineer with over 20 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry, specializing in ensuring the safety, reliability and operational efficiency of offshore facilities. I am a results-driven professional dedicated to achieving operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of safety and integrity in offshore engineering. Ambition, enthusiasm and a responsible nature led me initially to become a well-rounded and competent NDT technician, with professional qualifications to support, before moving into the OIE/FIE position that I have now held for the last 13 years. As a proficient communicator I manage my teams with a strong focus on leadership, team coordination, and strategic decision-making to maintain the integrity of critical assets.• Proven track record of implementing robust integrity programs to extend asset life cycles and minimize downtime. • Significant experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, third-party inspectors and regulatory bodies, to maintain alignment with local / global safety and quality standards. In line with the company AIMS and integrity procedures I have driven efficiency in a challenging, but rewarding environment, on several late life assets in the North Sea. • Involved with conducting detailed risk-based inspections (RBI), corrosion monitoring, and fitness-for-service (FFS) assessments to safeguard operational safety in compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and industry best practices.
