With a professional career spanning over 35 years, I have gained experience in all aspects of Quantity Surveying / Cost Management / Commercial Management from tendering to post contract stages. Majority of experience has been gained from on-site Quantity Surveying responsibilities including measurement, interim and final account submissions, evaluation of additional works, subcontract management, cost reporting, budget/cost control, cost forecasting and preparation of claim submissions for EOT for prolongation, acceleration and delay/disruption. Extensive experience has been gained of major infrastructure projects, both main contract and subcontract works in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Hong Kong, Middle East and Africa - airports, roads / highways, oil and gas, bridges, tunnels, metros, raılways, sea defence and water/wastewater projects. I have also been involved in mechanical / electrical / instrumentation works. I am proficient in all the major forms of Methods of Measurement and Contract / Subcontract types.
