About Mark Palmeri

I am a mountain biker, biomedical engineer, and teacher. I am a Professor of the Practice and Director of the Duke BME Design Fellows program that he launched in 2018. I have a passion for teaching biomedical instrumentation, medical software development and biomedical design. My research interests include ultrasonic imaging, acoustic radiation force methods, finite element analysis of soft tissue mechanics and multi-modality imaging.
