ABOUT MARK ORMISTON

I am a Risk and Compliance professional with expertise in MIFID II transaction reporting, UCITS and AIFMD. I am a highly motivated and ambitious individual who has worked within the Financial Services industry for around 7 years. I completed the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, level 3 Risk in Financial Services award in August 2023, displaying my commitment to continued professional development. Currently serving as a Senior Depositary Analyst, I am responsible for providing effective oversight and feedback to junior analysts on their day-to-day Depositary obligations; Cash reconciliation, Asset verification and wider compliance checks. Forming part of the AIFMD operations team, I am recognised as a subject matter expert in Annex IV reporting, responsibilities include; providing training to the wider business, allocating resources on a quarterly basis, responding to complex queries and delivering calls to clients on the functionality of our product offering. I was nominated for and am currently participating in the IQ-EQ ‘Ascent’ program, an Institute of Leadership and Management recognised training initiative, designed to develop future leaders for the business.
