Mark Oakeson - OPERATING PARTNER, One Rock Capital PartnersMark Oakeson is an Operating Partner in Lean Manufacturing for One Rock Capital Partners, LLC. Mr. Oakeson is currently a Director of One Rock portfolio companies FXI and Robertshaw. Mr. Oakeson has more than 30 years of operating improvement experience bringing lean manufacturing competencies to companies such as Black and Decker, Mercedes Benz of Brazil, Pella Corp, Lantech, Inc. and Hayward Pool. He is also the co-founder of TBM Consulting Group and LVC Consulting, where he helped to introduce lean concepts to Western companies, improving productivity and quality, and typically more than doubling returns on capital. Mr. Oakeson’s expertise has been applied to greenfield sites, plant expansions, consolidation, product development and product launches.A graduate of the University of Michigan, with a degree in Engineering, Mr. Oakeson also did post- graduate work in Finance at the University of Connecticut. In addition, Mr. Oakeson had direct experience early in his career training with the creators and innovators of the Toyota Production System, Messrs. Ohno, Shingo, Nakao and Iwata.
