Donnington Group is the largest, privately owned, multi location freehold strategic land owner / promoter in West Berkshire. From establishment in 1997 we have amassed freehold ownership of housing plots, of which 900 are allocated for development in the West Berks Core Strategy. On behalf of third party owners we have successfully delivered housing permissions from one plot to 3300 units as part of the Great Western Park Consortium at Didcot,(Donnington and Taylor Wimpey). We currently also promote a further 800 to plots at Hungerford, Newbury, and Thatcham, with further short to medium term land interests in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire. We are also active housebuilders, but do not often build private flats (apart from to add to our rental portfolio) and are interested in new land opportunities, including purchases, joint ventures, land promotion, and mezzanine / principal funding.
