As CBDO, Mark is responsible for leading the business development and marketing teams at AEI, including client origination and retention programs, allocation of corporate resources, and strategic planning. Mark joined the AEI team 2001 as a Business Development Manager focused on sales in Northern California, managing national accounts and client relationships. Mark has assisted a diverse client base across a multitude of industry segments, bringing aboard over projects from over unique accounts, ranging deal sizes from to Mark’s has a pragmatic approach to management and excels in qualifying and understanding the clients’ needs for AEI’s service offerings. Since joining AEI in 2001, Mark has helped rapidly expand AEI’s footprint throughout the United States by focusing on revenue opportunities, customer service, marketing and sales operations. AEI has realized an average of 25% growth in sales annually and expanded into over 20 additional brick and mortar locations since Mark started. Mark began his professional career in 1994 in hardware and software holding key positions in sales, managing and developing major accounts for internet start-ups as well as working for Fortune 500 corporations. Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of the Pacific and has been active with Mortgage Bankers Association, Environmental Bankers Association, International Conference of Shopping Centers, Bay Area Mortgage Association and National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders.
