ABOUT MARK NEWTON
My passion and strength is in building highly effective teams that provide the best value advisory and consulting services managing large capital projects and programs. Though leadership and coaching, I have built a strong team that can integrate with our clients staff to seek best value and quality, while ensuring ontime and onbudget delivery. After working as a practicing architect for fourteen years, first in healthcare, then in recreation and leisure and finally in public education, I decided to move into a role that allowed me a closer and more advisory role with all my clients. Working as a program manager for the last twenty years has been some of my most rewarding and valuable experience in contributing to my community and to our county\'s youth. Through my experience working on large program budgets, schedules, implementation plans to specific project implementation, QA/QC programs, staffing development and training and strategic advisory services to maximize the benefits of public funding to modernize or construct new assets. My professional focus is to provide program Management in the critical markets of public school construction, municipal facilities, and major sports venues, which involves overseeing and coordinating a series of related projects to achieve specific objectives efficiently and effectively. In the realm of public school construction, program managers play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing projects to enhance educational infrastructure. This may include the construction of new school buildings, renovation of existing facilities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Similarly, in municipal facilities development, program management is essential for coordinating various construction projects aimed at improving public services. This could involve the construction of libraries, community centers, or other municipal buildings. Program managers in this context ensure that projects align with the community\'s needs, stay within budget constraints, and adhere to timelines. Our bay area based team provides program management services with a goal of enabling our client/partners a strategic framework for optimizing resources, managing risks, and delivering successful outcomes in the multifaceted domains of public school construction, municipal facilities, and major sports venue development. It involves collaboration with diverse stakeholders, adherence to regulatory frameworks, and a commitment to achieving the goals set for each project within these sectors
