ABOUT MARK NEWCOMB

Mark Newcomb is a consultant specialising in programme management and project delivery utilising strong analytical and management skills with over 25 years of experience across multiple business verticals including Insurance, Travel, Financial Services, Healthcare, Government and not-for-profit. Mark has run change programmes for more than 15 years for in-house developed solutions, operational improvements and with vendors / 3rd party providers across all aspects of procurement and BAU within multiple business areas including IT.Mark has been involved in the creation, migration and upgrade of technology across geographically disperse locations for more than 15 years utilising Avaya, Genesys, Microsoft Dynamics amongst others to deliver programmes to Operational areas across several verticals managing internal and 3rd party vendor staff. Utilising programme/project management skills to manage both the Operational and Technical aspects of these projects.Mark has led many installation, solution upgrade programmes and provided strategic consultancy as part of an overall enterprise-wide Digital Transformation including CCM/CRM/ERP/DMS utilising both PaaS and SaaS solutions. This has included utilising different methodologies (Prince2 / Agile / Waterfall) to deliver significant business value based on business / strategic need through all stages from conception, Business Case, RFP, implementation and subsequently BAU. Often engaging with C-Level and project level, Mark has a passion for innovation that he brings into programme management that helps enable businesses to optimize existing processes and to grow via use of technology enabled solutions from both vendors and utilising internal development resources. He is experienced in many technologies, having run programmes to implement MS Dynamics, Smart Communications (Thunderhead), Mendix, Document Repositories, WFM, Telephony (Avaya) and Speech Analytics (Genesys), amongst others.
