My career as co-founder of three successful startups—Specialty1 Partners, Gulf Coast Endodontics and Jamboree Dentistry—has been a rich and fulfilling journey. With professional expertise and experience intersecting business, dentistry and patient care, I continue to realize my dream profession in assuring high-value clinical practice management, robust clinical programs/training and high-quality patient care.Shortly after my brother and I launched Gulf Coast Endodontics, we identified a critical need in the dental marketplace: practice management services specifically designed for dental specialists.Specialty1 Partners was launched and serves as the parent company of dental surgical-based partnerships Endo1 Partners, Perio1 Partners and OS1 Partners in maintaining and scaling practices for optimal performance on a nationwide basis. As the Chief Clinical Officer of Speciality1, I provide clinical, operational and business leadership across 170 practices and assist my co-founders in delivering high-value care. One of our greatest achievements in the launch of Specialty 1 is enabling seamless acquisitions and integration of endodontic, periodontal, and oral surgery offices.Known best for my agile, servant leadership approach that empowers others, I enjoy leading and training clinicians. Starting as a former clinical faculty at the University of Texas School of Dental Medicine, and having recruited and trained residents from some of the top universities in the country over the years, I developed a true love of teaching, training and developing fresh talent in the field.What I have appreciated the most about dentistry is the combination of artistry, the opportunity to create something with my hands and the opportunity to help people. The cornerstone of my success is built on my high sense of integrity and conscientiousness.
