Mark Mullen is a seasoned Broadcast & Media Solutions Architect with over 25 years of professional experience spanning audio, broadcast, IT, live event production, media production, production management, project management, theatre, and video. Mark’s career began in entertainment and corporate live event production, where he was responsible for designing and operating audio, broadcast, lighting and video systems for a diverse range of venues—from intimate black box theaters to expansive outdoor spaces. His production expertise covers corporate events, concerts, dance, theater, opera, and broadcast/video/webcast projects.Throughout his career, Mark has collaborated with a wide array of notable clients, including Aramark, American Music Theater, Armstrong, Dutch Apple, Excel Productions, Fulton Theatre, FMC, GM, Live Sound, Rodale Press, VA Productions, and many others, delivering high-quality live performances and events.Currently, Mark serves as a broadcast engineer and media solutions architect at Millersville University, where he maintains and oversees the university’s broadcast studios, editing suites, recording studios, specialty labs, and large venue sound systems. In addition to his institutional role, Mark is the founder of Proviaus and Commedia, private companies he established, through which he provides consultation, design, fractional CTO and value engineering services for audio, broadcast, lighting, Specialized IT, theater, video systems and live event services.Mark is deeply committed to the professional community, serving as Chair of the Philadelphia chapter of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and as Vice-Chair of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) Chapter 41.
