ABOUT MARK MIDGELEY

Experience spanning thirty years in the procurement and supply chain discipline covering a diverse range of companies, products, and Capital Expenditure Projects with both direct and indirect activities. Executing (on a day to day and from a position of strategic overview) Planning, Supply chain, and Manufacturing of products both in-house and via contractors. An in-depth knowledge enabling the controlling (and write code to help within Excel) of new and continuous needs via planning. Purchasing all variants of a \'need\' through agreements (or spot purchases) that reflect demand(s) on the SOP function or Project Management. An international Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Project Management professional with more than half of the thirty years managing stocks both locally and in remote locations throughout the world. A track record of reducing costs and improving company processes within both corporate and SME. A proven ability to ensure that the company enjoys a competitive edge through either negotiation, tendering, or sealed bid processes. Managed and controlled large spends of up to $286 million per annum with man-management skills covering eighteen buyers in multiple locations. My career demonstrating that I can use the experience gained previously with all disciplines showing savings over cost, time, and delivery. I have an open mind aiding me greatly when gathering information and casting views, thus forming an opinion in preparation for delivering recommendations or conclusions that best fit company needs and requirements. Being heavily involved in projects for direct and indirect implementations such as I.T.(SAP, Intact, and Sage (experience with Microsoft Dynamics)) gives me a distinct advantage on a complete overview of the supply chain process and its needs.
