ABOUT MARK MELCHIORRE
Mark Melchiorre is the Managing Partner of Forza Investment Group, LP, formerly known as Brean Asset Management. With over 25 years of experience in finance and capital markets, he has a deep background in credit trading, portfolio management, and investment strategies.He started his career as a Corporate Bond and Credit Derivatives Trader at Zurich/Scudder Kemper before joining Citigroup (Salomon Smith Barney) in the same capacity from to 2004. He continued in that role at Bank of America (20••••06) and Credit Suisse (20••••07), specializing in investment-grade, high-yield, and distressed credit.In 2007, he joined UBS O\'Connor, where he founded the Credit Strategies group. As a Portfolio Manager, he oversaw a multi-billion-dollar corporate credit portfolio spanning investment-grade, high-yield, and distressed credit. He also served on O\'Connor\'s Multi-Strategy Capital Allocation and Risk Management Committees, as well as its Management Committee.In 2012, he founded Taurasi Capital Management, a credit-focused hedge fund, before joining J.P. Morgan in 2015 as part of the High Yield and Leveraged Finance Trading group. In 2017, he launched MCM Global Partners, focusing on U.S. credit markets.From 2019 to 2024, he led Brean Asset Management, later transitioning it into Forza Investment Group in 2024.Melchiorre holds a B.A. in Economics from DePauw University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
