About Mark McKay

Seasoned Industrial Electrical Project Manager with a demonstrated history of over 20 years’ experience of consistent growth and upward trajectory in the industrial electrical field. Work history began with front line troubleshooting of 24/7 OSB mill in northern MN, providing me with experience in every facet of industrial process control. From there I advanced through supervisory, planning, and into management, effectively working with many disciplines for successful installation and operation of large industrial processing projects. Today, I am well versed in managing contractors and internal technicians for the entire array of industrial electrical project development, including incoming utility power upgrades, and new installations, medium voltage switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, PLC program development, HMI screen creation, instrument calibration, and fiber and copper network topology. My industry experience has been in open pit mining, powdered cement transfer, steel processing, frac sand, plastics, specialty materials, wood products, and biomass.I am highly organized and motivated and can quickly adapt to guide diverse teams to promote collaborating environments through the processes of project development and planning, electrical and mechanical engineering, electrical viability, electrical installation, programming, interface control, and complete commissioning starting with isolated testing ramping up to full production. My safety record is untarnished and am OSHA-30 certified with current MSHA safety certification.Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Major: Industrial Engineering, minor in Environmental Studies from Bemidji State University, Bemidji, MN.
