About Mark McCashland
I\'m a learning and development professional with experience in management and training development. I work in a consultative manner with managers and employees to perform a gap analysis, and then develop and deliver the appropriate learning (Elearning, performance support tools, participant and facilitator guides, jobs aids, etc.) solutions. Learning and development has changed over the past 15 years. I collaborate with a team of professionals who use training technology to increase employee\'s learning, and ensure they have the information needed within their workflow and at their moment of need to be successful in their job. With 70% of L&D knowledge forgotten shortly after a typical training class, we have to be more creative in our L&D design and work with managers and supervisors to ensure what is presented in a training session isn’t forgotten, but is applied to the job, when needed.
