I have been a technologist for the past eighteen years with fourteen years IT management experience, 5 years management experience in SERC, 8 years within Citi and one year with FD Technologies. My current role in FD Technologies sees me managing a team of engineers supporting the End User Services for FD technologies across the globe. As part of this I am responsible for teams running the JIRA service desk, Engineering and L1 – L3 Support. I have increased both OLA and SLA response times from 70% to 99.95% for completion on time. I have also over seen a modernization of the desktop environment. I have deployed Intune as our Modern Desktop Management tool along with Autopilot, this allows us to provision a laptop, desktop, or mobile phone anywhere on the globe that the device can connect to the internet and receive all the applicable company applications and policies. I have also adjusted my staff count and locations to give a true follow the sun model and improve the IT coverage to 20X5 from the original 9X5. I have replaced the aging Antivirus Solution and replaced it with a modern EDR\\XDR solution and Advanced Threat Protection to further improve the security of the company. By making these changes I have improved the service delivery for the Corporate IT team and improved the stability of the IT Systems and continue to modernize the environment while improving business outcomes for the company overall. I have responsibility for the Corporate IT budget, oversite, and procurement, ensuring financial efficiency and maximum return on investment for hardware, software, staffing costs align with the strategic direction of Corporate IT and FD Technologies. In Citi for 8 years, I have managed several teams responsible for Infrastructure Delivery and Infrastructure Support in a truly global company. My teams were spread throughout the globe located in Belfast, Texas, Mexico, Chennai, Japan and the Philippines. I was responsible for a large estate, for RADIA/HPCA we have approximately 4500 servers running on Windows Server 2008 or later located in approximately 200 countries, and this supports Citi’s Windows 10 infrastructure around desktops at its peak. For SCCM I supported approximately 200 servers globally and this product will be replacing Big Fix for servers and HPCA/RADIA for desktops, currently we have Windows servers and desktops utilizing SCCM daily and this number grows daily via OS deployments and migrations which take place daily.
