About Mark Mathewson

Raised in Seattle, I started at EY in 1995 as a staff accountant and until June 2019 was Assurance Partner with responsibilities over our Growth Markets practice as well as our Entrepreneur Of The Year® program in the Pacific Northwest. In July 2019 took a leadership position in our Capital Markets team in South America and in July 2022 was named Capital Markets Leader for LATAM based in São Paulo Brazil. Over the last 30 years, I have served clients in the technology, high tech manufacturing, aerospace, life sciences and retail/distribution industries. I have extensive experience with multinational account coordination and have a wealth of experience on public filings, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, review of complex revenue transactions, IT system changes, launch of online sales channels, mergers and acquisitions and implementation of internal controls for rapidly growing companies. I have also worked in our London/Cambridge England offices focused on the growth markets for several years. I graduated magna cum laude from Western Washington University and am accredited in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
