ABOUT MARK MADDISON
Most organisations don’t set out to exclude people. Yet for millions of individuals with sight loss, everyday services, communications, and digital spaces still create barriers. That’s where I come in.Alongside my role in the charity sector, I work as a freelance accessibility consultant, supporting charities, businesses, and service providers to become more inclusive for individuals with sight loss.My work includes accessibility advice, training, and support across digital content, communications, and services. From helping teams understand accessibility requirements to improving inclusive practices, I support organisations in removing barriers and creating better experiences for everyone. As someone with lived experience of sight loss, I bring both professional insight and personal perspective to this work.I’m passionate about making accessibility practical, achievable, and part of everyday thinking rather than an afterthought. If you\'re interested in improving accessibility for people with sight loss, feel free to connect with me.
