With over 40 years of UK and international experience, recognised as one of the UK’s leading commercial transaction and advisory lawyers specialising in the IT, outsourcing, shared services/GBS, digital, and advanced technology markets. In 2023 rejoined Stephenson Harwood, having started my legal private practice technology law career there 32 years before.As a Visiting Professor in Practice at LSE Law School since 2019, lecture on the legal and regulatory aspects of advanced technologies, including AI and compute business models, cloud computing, and cybersecurity and resilience.Experience spans, among others, the critical national infrastructure sector, and the private equity, asset management, funds, banking, insurance, retirement solutions and fintech industries, representing both IT and business process/transformation service providers and clients. Serve as a trusted adviser to FTSE 100-350 and Fortune 500 boards.Have been engaged as an adviser by governments, government agencies, and international organisations, including the European Commission, the Commonwealth Secretariat and NATO.Advised on ICT law, regulation and accelerating development through ICT, digitisation and nearshore/offshore outsourcing in Europe, India, GCC, Trinidad and Tobago, the Seychelles and Palestine.Have held founder and senior management roles in global professional services and legal firms, including PwC and EY, as well as leading the UK law firms associated with PwC and EY and their associated global IT, outsourcing and e-commerce legal networks.Worked in UK government at the start of my career.Deep knowledge and experience of India\'s IT, outsourcing and business worlds.
