About Mark L. Alderman

Mark joined the firm’s Philadelphia and Washington, D.C, offices in April 2009 as a Member in the Business Law Department, practicing in the Government Relations Group. Mr. Alderman concentrates his practice on business matters with an emphasis on issues that involve government relations, including matters involving federal public strategies. Prior to joining the firm, he served as the Chair of Wolf Block LLP. Mark is Chairman of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies LLC, which works with clients to advocate their interests with decision-makers in all branches of local, state, and federal government. Among his recent public and professional affiliations, Mark is or has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institute, the Democratic National Committee National Finance Committee (Pennsylvania Chair), the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Team; the Presidential Inaugural Committee; the Obama for America National Finance Committee; The United States Attorney Nominating Commission; the Judicial Nominating Commission, the Kerry for President National Finance Committee (Co-Chair); the Advisory Board of Philadelphia International Airport (Chair); the Restructuring Government Task Force of Mayor John F. Street Transition Team (Co-Chair); Governor Edward G. Rendell’s Retirement Systems Transition Committee; and Philadelphia 21st Century Review Forum’s Right- Sizing Government Committee.
