As the DevOps lead on the software security team, responsible for the design and implementation of automated, behaviour-driven build and test frameworks written mainly in Python and bash.Highly motivated by automation and efficiency, led the migration of the team’s Jenkins CI/CD workflows to five new public cloud platforms from the previous singular private cloud.Responsible for developing code for lifecycle events (install, upgrade, backup-restore, etc.) for Helm chart deployments in kubernetes environments, prioritising no data loss and no service downtime.Led the integration of the Xray test tracking tool in the security test framework, automating test reporting directly from Jenkins to Jira, increasing visibility and reliability of test reports.Integrated code coverage and other static code analysis metrics into existing CI/CD workflows.Providing global technical support to product teams on field issues, especially with the deployment of the team’s security microservices in different cloud environments.Other responsibilities include mentoring and supervising co-op students, sprint planning, effort tracking and estimation, and code quality reviews.Recently took on a scrum master role for the team’s agile development process.
