I’m an entrepreneur and the joy of my career has been working with other entrepreneurs to create organizations that marry positive purpose with best-in-class business practices. Meaningful contribution only comes when these are combined. We invest in and build businesses led by mission-driven, high-energy entrepreneurs. Our goal is to generate lasting value for all stakeholders while having a positive impact. Generation has a long history of creating and building organizations that lead with both heart and mind. This is a meaningful consideration in our decision process and is an underlying theme shared by our investments. We are highly-selective and operate under a unique structure that enables multi-decade ownership and provides entrepreneurs an ideal platform to innovate and execute their long-term vision. We have invested in more than 50 companies over the past 30 years and have developed specialized best-practices to help entrepreneurs take their companies to the next level. We target investments of $20 million to $100 million and focus on technology-enabled businesses with strong growth drivers and specialize in helping companies break through several hundred million in revenue. We primarily invest in these industry groups: Business & Information Services, Healthcare Services, Software, Education, Media, Entertainment, Communications, Marketing Services and eCommerce.    Co-led Generation\'s acquisition of ReCept. Founded more than 40-years ago by pharmacist & entrepreneur Nicky Otts, ReCept is a national leader in pharmacy management services and specialty pharmacy solutions. Under our ownership ReCept has grown more than 5-fold and has developed deep expertise and proprietary best practices to manage pharmacies to significantly improve patient care. ReCept is another excellent example of Generation\'s focus on building mission-driven organizations which combine positive purpose with proven business practices and leadership guided by both heart and mind.
