I’am a proud first generation miner since Dec 1992, and still every day is a learning experience for me. I have worked in various roles in my 29 years of mining, from Driller, Blaster, Operator, Mine Controller, D&B supervisor, Mine Supervisor, Sr Safety Rep and Contractor Safety Management, including Process General Supervisor Middle Management Roles. I have a passion for Mining, and growing in my career. My pride is in Safety, Safety empowerment of my employees and Safety ownership.

   Several job details throughout my 25 years with Newmont, from operating equipment, drill and blast, drill, and blast Supervisor, senior mine operations Supervisor, Senior Health and Safety including Contractor Safety Management, training entire sites to the program and 10 years presenting in Annual Refresher training, most recently Process Operation General Foreman. Most of my career with Newmont has been focused on people management, safe work performance, including budgets, and evaluations of our employees, team building and efficient production including time in Ghana working within the organization to help train the drill and blast crews on safe and efficient drilling techniques.
