Mark is an established real estate investor with over 35 years of institutional experience in all types of real estate. Mark has diversified hotel industry experience and is an active investor. Most recently, Mark has invested in hotels and hotel related technology ventures and has developed several notable mixed-use properties in New York; including the award winning Baccarat Hotel & Residences, the 243-key Marriott Residence Inn World Trade Center, and the development of the Moxy Downtown, a complex, landmark 30-story mixed-use hotel and retail tower. Mark was also actively involved in the redevelopment of two large office buildings in Manhattan.Throughout his career Mark has advised clients on the sale and finance of real estate and has also personally developed, acquired, renovated, repositioned, managed and asset managed real estate, always with a focus on hospitality.

   Mark was responsible for over $1 billion of hotel development in Manhattan. Notable projects include the development and ultimate sale of the super luxury Baccarat Hotel & Residences, the hotel was sold for the highest price per key ever achieved in the U.S. In addition he oversaw the adaptive reuse of an office building conversion into the Marriott Residence Inn World Trade Center and recently completed the development of the Moxy Hotel Downtown, a mixed-use 30-story hotel and retail tower in lower Manhattan. Conde Nast Traveler awarded Readers Choice Awards for both The Baccarat Hotel and the Moxy Downtown Hotel.
