   Channel Design Group LLC creates legislative and regulatory affairs programs at the federal and state level. Working with colleagues from across a united industry, we helped pass landmark federal authorizations and historically high appropriations over a multi-year period. The root business provides product and service distribution channel design. We have helped domestic and international clients identify business opportunities and expand their distribution networks. We advocate on energy. Our network helped a climate group identify key audiences in private industry and on the Hill. Channel Design Group is helping drive research on changes in energy transportation based upon evolving fuel markets. Channel Design Group\'s international team of world-class researchers examines the business, political and regulatory conditions in international markets and in source nations. Our services allow private industries, NGOs and agencies to identify opportunities and avoid hidden problems. Our team used grass-roots techniques to help repeal an excise tax on fuel that unfairly impacted one transportation mode but not competitive modes. One of our functions was to create a letter-writing campaign for our employees, including identifying their federal representatives via database work. We also have worked on state tax issues impacting interstate commerce, and the underlying federal authorization. We worked on a successful drive to raise a user fee in order to support greater matching contributions from the federal treasury. Channel Design Group provides corporate communications tools to support our clients\' positions and programs.
