ABOUT MARK I. ANDERSON

Mr. Anderson has over 30 years of experience in the preparation, analysis and resolution of construction claims and disputes in the US and internationally. His clients include many of the world’s largest and best-known participants in the construction industry, including more than 250 engagements.Mr. Anderson has testified as an expert in CPM scheduling, delay analysis, and cost and damage analysis on more than thirty (30) occasions in various forums, including the US Court of Federal Claims, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, and the US District Court, as well as before arbitration panels, mediators and dispute review boards. Mr. Anderson has served as an expert on such well known construction projects as the Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix; the Alfonse D’Amato Federal Courthouse in New York; the AEGIS Ashore Missile Defense Project in Romania; the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai; the Campeche Offshore Gas Compression Project in Mexico; the West African Gas Pipeline in Nigeria; the Playas Hydro-Electric Project in Colombia; and the Peace Shield Program in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Anderson has also served as an expert on delay and damage issues on aircraft and shipbuilding programs including the A-12 Avenger Program, the C23b+ Aircraft Modification Program, the Israeli Aircraft Industries B707 AWACs Program, and the A781 SATCOM Program. His expertise also includes analysis of delays and impacts on large-scale engineering and software development programs such as the Integrated Project Control System (IPCS) for the Big Dig Central Artery/Tunnel in Boston, Massachuttes.Mr. Anderson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in 1981. He is also a Member of the Industry Advisory Board of the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech and a frequent guest lecturer on scheduling, project controls, contract administration, claims and risk management.
