About Mark Hurst
As a fourth-year pre-law student in Microbiology and Legal Studies, I’m passionate about both the biological sciences and the law. My past experiences include performing experimentation in a medical laboratory, assisting with administrative tasks at a large research group, and most recently applying my acquired skills in a volunteer researching position for Midwest Environmental Advocates. These opportunities, as well as rigorous coursework in everything from chemistry to intellectual freedom law, have allowed me to develop a slew of technical and critical thinking skills that translate well into any environment. My main goal now is build upon what I\'ve learned through further professional experiences.I\'m presently searching for a general government or government-adjacent internship in the Washington, D.C. area for the Summer of 2024. For the following Fall and Spring, I’m looking for similar internships in the Madison, WI area.
