   In this role, I am responsible for oversight of the IT Infrastructure for the $28B organization which UPMC has become. UPMC is the largest integrated delivery and finance system (IDFS) system in Pennsylvania and one of the leading nonprofit medical centers in the country. UPMC is comprised of 40 academic, community and specialty hospitals, 800 doctors\' offices and outpatient sites, employed physicians, employees and an array of rehab, retirement, and long-term care options spanning Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and internationally. UPMC also has an Insurance Services Division covering more than four (4) million lives. I manage a team of over 200 IT professionals that support core enterprise IT functions including: Cloud Support Operations, Virtualization, Core Network & Switching, Operating Systems, Databases, Appliance management, Storage, Data Protection, Data Center Operations, Governance, IT finances, Call Center, EHR support and End user technologies. Responsible for maintaining and supporting this infrastructure landscape, establishing annual budgets, vendor negotiations and management, strategic infrastructure planning as well as collaboration with operational partners and colleagues to assure the needs of the business are being met.
