Commercial - Tendering• All Coating & PFP estimations• All materials plant and equipment requirement• Full offshore surveys • Overseas surveys on and off shore• High level client presentations• Liaising with any subcontractors required for technical reasons for tenders.• Creating & maintaining company Norms suite. I have personally compiled a complete suite of FM Norms including Coatings, PFP and Insulation estimation tools Commercial – Suppliers• Solely responsible for maintaining relations with our suppliers • Trailing new products, plant & equipment and new methodologiesTechnical – Training & Standards• Technical Support for complex work scopes. • Providing technical expertise and guidance for deviations• Writing of project specific Coating Specifications, Workpacks, Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.• Continuous Improvement including interfacing with regulatory and independent verification bodies. I am an active member of the ECITB Steering Group who have been engaging with member fabric maintenance companies to define a strategic approach to skills and competence requirement which would benefit the collective sector.• Provide technical input and assurance for workpacks, risk assessment, investigations, management of change reviews and project reviews• Play a key part in the tendering process where I am responsible for the estimation of all durations, materials, plant and equipment, meeting with clients to provide technical assurance.• Responsible for training and development of manpower. Delivering product and equipment awareness training, as well as setting the competence standards within my area of responsibility and ensuring all training is appropriate and complies with relevant standards.• Compliance Audits for Company and Client processes and procedures. Company Accreditations, Supply Chain Audits, reviews and approval of Products or Services.
