About Mark Hoersten
38 years of experience spanning the full range of high tech product creation; from customer opportunity identification to design & development along with global B2B go-to-market execution. Former VP of Product Management and Marketing for Keithley Instruments, an organization that enables customers in the electronic and semiconductor industries to gain a unique insight into the electrical performance of materials, devices, and systems both with R&D and production applications. In this role, responsible for all product planning and marketing functions, including customer needs, opportunity development, product definition, and long range roadmaps. Extensive experience focusing on end-customer problems and work flow. Many of the positions held throughout my career at Keithley involved working closely with customers to clearly understand their pain points and what jobs they are trying to accomplish. This customer/application approach led to a range of highly successful products that created a strong competitive advantage and growth for the company. Started a career at Keithley as a design engineer, gaining firsthand experience with what it takes to bring all the technology elements together for innovative products, including circuit design, firmware, and system level software. That was followed by leadership positions in product development, product marketing, business management, and VP of Product Management and Marketing.
