ABOUT MARK HIRSCH
I have over 33 years of experience in geotechnical/construction management and engineering. I started as a geotechnical engineer for the Florida Department of Transportation and worked my way to being a Vice President of Construction Management for a leading architectural, engineering consulting firm. Growth development is strength of mine with a proven track record of expansion into several new market areas and sustaining growth in those new market areas. I have solid experience managing all levels of highway and bridge construction including alternative delivery methods of procuring work design-build and P3 as well as bid-build contracts, starting from pursuit, procurement, job start-up, operations, and closeout. I have directed highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program through the planning and organization of subordinate staff members. This includes developing and reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures, as well as reviewing field calculations for conformance with pay quantity measurements. I am an accomplished Construction Manager with demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Projects range from $7.8 million to $3 billion.
