About Mark Wolthuis

As a Director on the Results Management/Execution & Transformation Team within the VMware Office of the CEO, I help accelerate the company\'s transition to a consumption and SaaS model through implementing and managing the OKR (Objective & Key Results) program and Leadership Cohort Program. I am an OKR Certified Coach with expertise in the Outcome Mindset Method WorkBoard. I have also coached the sales enablement business unit\'s leadership team on setting quarterly and annual OKRs. I have nearly 7 years of recent experience in M&A due diligence and integration, and a decade of prior experience on the front end of M&A deals managing the origination and closing of merger and acquisition deals. I have integrated sales and GTM (Go-to-Market) vertical chain external partners\' enablement-related processes, platforms, curriculum, and tools into those of VMware. I have developed a new and repeatable template plan for enablement integration that can be used with future company acquisitions. I also previously managed the global portfolio of physical facilities for ESW Capital and its subsidiaries, with the primary objective of negotiating out of leases and converting acquired companies to 100% remote work. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, and have an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BA from Brigham Young University.
