Cybersecurity Teaching FellowNCyTE Community College Cybersecurity Fellowship ProgramSummer 2025 – Moraine Valley Community College (Hybrid)Completed a competitive fellowship focused on cybersecurity education through the National Cybersecurity Training & Education (NCyTE) Center. The program combined intensive training with supervised teaching at the community college level.Participated in a 32-hour Advanced Technologies Bootcamp, including two days of in-person instruction and five days of virtual sessions, emphasizing cybersecurity pedagogy, curriculum design, and hands-on lab development.Created instructional content such as lesson plans, team-based activities, assessments, and learning rubrics tailored for community college learners.Completed a 60-hour teaching practicum at a partner community college, delivering classroom instruction and collaborating with faculty mentors to adapt curriculum to institutional needs.Applied Microsoft’s 21st Century Learning Design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to support diverse student populations and enhance learner engagement.Gained direct experience in community college teaching and curriculum development aligned with workforce-focused cybersecurity education.
