ABOUT MARK HARBERT

I have an extensive and well-rounded background in many different facets of project management in my 35 plus years in Oil, Gas & Power; with projects varying in size from $ 1 million to over $3 billion. The majority of my experience (the past 20 years) has been in management roles within Material Management (Material Control / Procurement / Logistics / Subcontracts). During my career I have also held positions in Project Management, Construction Management and Project Controls. Within these various roles I have worked in the H. O, the Field and overseas; with my most recent positions as the Site Material Manager for two ExxonMobil Topsides projects that were fabricated in South Korea over six years. I was the WorleyParsons SW Operations Department Manager for Material Control (MC) from 1997 thru 2009 (until I accepted a project position overseas on EM projects). As the DM for MC, I was responsible for Material Control on Projects, the maintenance and development of our proprietary Document and Material Control system; and the hiring and management of the Home Office and Site MC personnel. I\'m in excellent health and want to find new project challenges within the O&G industry. I’m currently working/playing as a Wine Steward (a life long interest). I’m hoping/expecting to work at least another +/- 7 years. I would consider a wide range of job roles and can be available on short notice.
