Create a music syllabus that offers a rigorous curriculum in Jazz, group and private instruction on a wide range of principle instruments and voice and intense focus in various fields of study in music. Create and oversee many professional performance opportunities for the students. Offer courses in composition and arranging, ear training, harmony, and music technology that will provide students with a solid foundation for today\'s ever changing music scene. Maintain a faculty of world renowned artist that teach in the program providing experiences and knowledge that can only come from such artist and teachers. James Moody Jazz Orchestra is our big band that gives students opportunities to polish their skills in a large ensemble. These skill lessons will breed life long skills of honesty, leadership and follower abilities, clarity of thought, flexibility, commitment, awareness, communication, spirituality, and individual creativity. JAZZ!
