N43A; Readiness, Materiel and Logistics/Maintenance, Engineering, Repair, Operational Readiness and reporting. Supporting US Navy, Commander Second Fleet, under the U.S. Fleet Forces Command Maintenance (N43) contract support providing trends and analysis on navy systems, warfare, ships, aircraft, nuclear submarines and nuclear aircraft carriers for US and NATO assets. Defense Contractor on site with Commander, U.S. SECOND FLEET with N4 Readiness as the Deputy Material Readiness Officer (N43A) for Maintenance, Engineering, Repair and Operational Readiness Reporting. Solely responsible for preparing and briefing Flag Officer (U.S. and NATO) up to the three-star level for overall fleet materiel readiness. This includes warfare areas impacted, path towards restoration and recommendations to the Commander. Represents the Fleet Commader with all TYCOM’s (Surface, Air, Sub) for overall readiness tracking, fleet expectations and requirements, to include all surface and CVN assets, submarine, contracted towed array assets, and all aircraft assigned, to include parts tracking and repairs. Produces a daily briefing report of overall readiness of assigned and soon to be assigned assets, to include readiness trends, CASREP burndown rate, and warfare areas impacted. Provides a detailed description of each area of material readiness issues with a narrative path of correction. Provides SME and Senior level advisement to the three-star, two star and one star Admiral, in addition to the senior leadership, including the ACOS N4 director with positive results. Provides SME to the N4 staff, manned solely by Supply Corps personnel, in the areas of warfare, readiness and weekly analysis and trends of fleet systems. Was recognized twice as employee of the quarter onsite with outstanding client feedback.
