About Mark Green
Directs the premier physical and digital communications channels to the Kentucky business community. Louisville native grew up in Elizabethtown and Lebanon then earned a Journalism BA at the University of Kentucky. After 26 years in newspaper reporting/editing in Tenn, La. and Fla.(24+ with NYT Co. regional newspapers ), returned to Ky. in 2007 to join Lane Communications Group, which since 1985 publishes The Lane Report, the well regarded statewide business magazine, related specialty publications, operates LaneReport.com and its email news platform FasterLane. Journalism fulfills my need to participate in the marketplace of ideas and contribute to society. Specialties: Persuasion and explanatory writing. Politics and public policy journalism. Economic development issues. Publication management. Book editing/writing.

Oversee the editorial content of The Lane Report, Kentucky\'s monthly statewide business magazine, and LaneReport.com. Launched FasterLane email blast. Lane Communications also has a pair of 2X/year regional mags targeting YPs and creatives in Louisville and Lexington, several annuals including the Market Review of the Bluegrass, and Market Review of Greater Louisville. We are based in Lexington, Ky. I edit, write, report, shoot photos, direct photo shoots, set policy, work with freelancers, etc.
