ABOUT MARK GORDON

I am a drug development executive and board‑certified neurologist with 20 years leading clinical and translational strategy across neurodegenerative, neuroinflammatory, and movement disorders. My work spans Phase I–IV development, IND strategy, global trial execution, and regulatory engagement with the FDA, EMA, and international agencies.I have led programs across small molecule, biological, and cellular therapies, contributing to 14 approvals of four CNS drugs in nine countries. I integrate clinical strategy, safety leadership, biomarker innovation, digital outcomes, and cross‑functional execution from early development through late‑stage evidence generation.I have shaped pipelines, guided regulatory pathways, and partnered with Research & Discovery and Business Development to evaluate new targets, assets, and platforms. Earlier in my career, I directed a movement disorders program, served as PI on 34 clinical trials, and built a national reputation as a scientific communicator with 140+ peer‑reviewed publications.My external leadership and advisory roles include the FDA Peripheral & Central Nervous System Drugs Advisory Committee, CAMD Industry Co‑Chair (Critical Path Institute), and EMIF‑AD Work Package Co‑Director (Innovative Medicines Initiative).I am energized by advancing transformative therapies for patients with serious neurological diseases and by building high‑performing teams that deliver scientific rigor, operational excellence, and strategic clarity.
