ABOUT MARK GOODMAN

About Mark Goodman - I have developed an extremely unique perspective of the business world. Having previously owned and operated an electric motor company, I learned what it takes to make a service business successful. And, after all, aren’t all businesses providing some form of service?Along my journey, I have become interested in many things. I enjoy numbers and statistics, so got my Black Belt Certification in 6 Sigma. I now use that knowledge to help Fortune 500 manufacturing companies better understand their processes.I developed an accredited college program focused on utility scale wind technologies and training technicians to effectively provide advanced, industrial maintenance functions.I became extremely interested in the science of adult learning, so went back to school and earned a degree in Corporate Organizational Development and Instructional Design. I now help companies all across North America design, plan, and implement technical training programs.I helped manage training initiatives in the Middle East and Africa.I direct the North American Industry Sales Division for Amatrol…a world leader in technical training.I truly understand the science of sales, the nature of people, and have been successful in negotiating and closing large sales projects. I love to mentor, manage, guide and teach everyone I work with.Also having an influence on my perspectives: • Raced stock cars in a NASCAR weekly racing series• Raced Bicycles• Acted on stage and on film• Performed stand-up comedy• Coached youth and high school soccer• Climbed 2 of the Seven Summits • Provide motivational speeches and sales training• Became the Chairman of my local Chamber of Commerce• Became the president of my local Electrical Apparatus Service Association
