ABOUT MARK FORSYTH

I was born and raised in the beautiful Chilterns countryside in a small village, Chinnor. I was very lucky to live 20 revolutions of the bike pedal from some of the best forestry hills and tracks around. Being a village kid on a small cul-de-sac my days were spent on two wheels, but often than not one. Mastering the ultimate “around the block” wheelie will always be in my top 10 life achievements! If I was not on my bike I would be out working with my Dad, who at the time was an agricultural engineer. Riding around in the van to various jobs, stopping for a cheeky Iron Bru and Mars bar was always a highlight on very long and hot days. Playing with spanners and understanding the mechanics of things has always interested me. Into my teens I had three paper rounds which kept me busy on a Friday evening plus Saturday morning. I also spent Sunday evening and the odd Tuesday re-stocking shelves in the corner shop. This gave me a little bit of money to then escape the village, when the buses allowed. Wycombe on a Saturday afternoon was always a go to.When I made my way into the big wide working world, I met my now wife. We have two wonderful son’s together who are both growing up faster than I could ever of believed. Very proud of how they are both finding their way through an ever changing world. Family always is a very important part of my life and very lucky to have a great support network around me. Outside of the 9-2-5 I enjoy two main hobbies – Motorsport and BBQ. BBQ – Maybe deemed a “strange” hobby by some, but who doesn’t love food. Spending 8, 10 or 12 hours plus cooking a mouth-watering brisket, or making specialised rubs for a pulled pork joint. One day I might advance from being a trainee pit master. Never let it be said you cannot have enough BBQ’s, everything has a place and everything in its place.Motorsport – Who doesn’t love the smell of petrol in the morning. I volunteer marshal at a number of different motorsport circuits and disciplines. When you cross through the slam gates to the other side of the debris fence everything is re-set. Hierarchy of life, social financial situation even age is all left the other side. Spending the day regardless of the weather with like minded people, sharing different opinions. Having two sons does make this hobby even more rewarding, being able to take them into race teams garages and share time with drivers has made special moments we will remember in the years to come. That’s enough about me, I\'d like to find out about you!Feel free to send me a DM if you want to chat
