I\'ve enjoyed the privilege of serving on the Education Advisory Committee since the beginning of this terrific festival. For 5 years I\'ve helped plan and moderate \"Behind The Screen,\" a series of student media career seminars in conjunction with Montclair State University. As part of the series, I interviewed Tim Squyers, Ang Lee\'s editor. This year I\'ll be moderating a panel with three editors from FX\'s critically acclaimed series,\'The Americans\'. At the 2012 Film Festival, I presented a lecture on the Mechanics of Horror Films and the work of Alfred Hitchcock. Last year and for the upcoming 2017 Festival I\'ll be co-chairing the Jr. Jury. I also served last year as a judge for the festival\'s Emerging Fimmakers competition.
