Strategic underwriting leader, responsible for delivering results for the Surety and Fidelity lines of business at Penn National. Directly manage all Home Office and Field Operations, responsible for all aspects of operations. PNI is a regional leader in the small contract, rapid response, commercial and fidelity markets in 14 states. We continue to refine and expand the underwriting appetite at PNI, by increasing the quality and program levels for our products. Developed a more robust portfolio management protocol while working to streamline our delivery of services. Recruited new personnel and managed significant changes in people and structure. Coordinated placement of reinsurance, and liaised heavily with claims department on larger claim items. Served on the Board of the National Association of Independent Sureties, including the Chairman position. Represent PNI at SFFA, NASBP and AGC events.
