The Technology Controls Program (TCP) is the center of excellence for the SEC to provide examination oversight of market technology, promoting well-functioning markets and supporting investor confidence. TCP plays a significant role in receiving incoming data of system outages, interruptions, and intrusions per the Regulation Systems Compliance and Integrity (Regulation SCI) rule. In addition to tracking technology oriented market events, we use a risk-based approach to provide examination, consultation, guidance and support across the National Examination Program for Exam technology focused issues.
