ABOUT MARK FARRAR
I am a Chartered Town Planner with over twenty five years\' experience of working in the public and private sectors of the profession. I joined The Urbanists as Planning Manager in 2005 after 4 years as a Principal Planner with RPS in Cardiff. Before that I held development control and project planning positions with Cardiff Council and Rhondda Cynon Taff CBC. My project experience includes health, education, retail, residential, engineering, and industrial development, for both public and private sector clients, plus managing multi-disciplinary project teams in the preparation of feasibility studies, Environmental Impact Assessments / Environmental Statements and regeneration studies.I am a member of the RTPI Cymru Policy and Research Forum (ex chair), and am 2026 Chair of the RTPI Cymru Executive.I am a Royal Yacht Association qualified Coastal Skipper and try to keep fit by running marathons and ultra marathons.
