Overall responsibility for compliance for 1200 stores located within airports, stations, hospitals and the High Street • Financial responsibility for the compliance budget to the value c£4m. • Introduction and implementation of a Fire Risk Assessment external contractor programme and process across the group. • Re-introduction, from tender to implementation, of the Legionella Risk Assessment programme across the group including remedials set up. • Responsible for the transference of compliance to a new managing agent. • Design and implementation of a Construction Design Management process to ensure reactive contractors met the standards and legal obligations. • Updated asbestos management policies and process to create easier access to documents and checking that contractors were using then. • Implementation of an off-site store room asset list to ensure compliance in all areas (151 sites).• Runner up in the “Smithies” for “Best behind the scenes wonder” award.
